Amanda's Running the Cambridge Half

Posted on: 23rd Jan 2015 by: Ann Pettengell

March 2015:

She did it!  On Sunday 8th March Amanda completed the Cambridge Half Marathon on behalf of the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.  Through blood (literally - photo evidence), sweat and tears she completed the 13.1 miles in a personal best time of 2:21.  We are all so proud of her efforts and achievement - all in aid of a truly worthwhile cause.

It's not too late to support Amanda and the Arthur Rank - you can still donate online.  Every little helps..

February 2015:

She's still going!  Amanda's training is progressing really well.  On 25th Jan she took part in the Gayton 10K run - just for practice, as you do (!).  Amanda is running for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity who provide free-of-charge specialist palliative care and support to adult patients and their family, friends and carers.

January 2015:

Over the Christmas holiday most of us in the Ann Pettengell team ate our body weights in food, glued ourselves to the sofa, and generally made the most of life with no alarm clock.

Amanda, on the other hand, stuck to her training regime in preparation for the Cambridge Half Marathon and is now at a very impressive 8 miles per run. We applaud and salute Amanda's dedication (and are secretly very grateful that it's her and not us).

Why not join us in supporting Amanda and her fundraising for the Arthur Rank Hospice:
