This independent Financial Planning Company based in the city centre (and providing parking) is offering an opportunity to provide administrative support in an office that provides innovative and comprehensive solutions to both individuals and corporate clients. 

As part of this small but growing business, you will have a positive energy, be highly organised and able to prioritise.  You will also be numerically astute and have great attention to detail.  Initially working on a temporary basis and being flexible to work 3-5 days per week, you will be keen to move towards a permanent role with the company and have the opportunity to develop and grow within the role as the company expands.

Key Duties

  • Research, prepare and maintain confidential correspondence, reports and other documents
  • Answer phone calls, dealing with queries, providing valuations or directing calls as appropriate in a friendly and professional manner
  • Greet and assist visitors in the office
  • Open and distribute mail
  • Take minutes in meetings
  • Maintain personal and professional development including participation in appropriate training activities

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to work under their own initiative and learn quickly so they can be flexible to the changing demands of the business
  • Have experience working in an administrative role and working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet usage (experience in a financial setting would be advantageous)
  • Have an excellent command of English and demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
