Our client is looking for a team player, who has a good customer service approach, attention to detail and you must be able to work to strict confidentiality at all times. You will be joining an amazing team who are outcome focused and love the work they do!

This role plays an important part in the day-to-day work of their laboratory. Working under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager and an Administrative Assistant the role holder will help to book-in patient cases on their in-house system. You will reply to emails and liaise with clinical staff to ensure the best service delivery and assist the team with any administrative work that keeps the smooth running of the laboratory.

Key Duties

  • Booking in patient cases on the system
  • Support with manufacturing process
  • Administrative support to the laboratory team as a whole
  • Customer service duties including emails and phone calls
  • Filing, photocopying, retrieving documentation
  • Preparing outgoing mail and sorting incoming post
  • Monitoring office stationery
  • Keeping administrative areas of the laboratory neat and tidy
  • Contribute to the culture of our inclusive and enthusiastic team

Person Specification:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Customer service experience
  • Good communication skills
  • GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Data and financial processing experience, desirable
  • Able to learn new systems quickly and follow instructions
