Job description

Role Outline

We are recruiting for a variety of temporary HR assignments that are hybrid, however, we have some assignments that are purely home based and equipment will be supplied. Assignments vary in hours and tenure, so please make an enquiry so we can assess which positions are most suitable for your requirements.

Skills and experience required

  • Managing the recruitment lifecycle
  • Providing clear and accurate advice
  • Assisting with job profiles
  • Writing job descriptions and adverts
  • Conducting interviews
  • Coordinating HR and Payroll support services
  • Coordinating employee probation and appraisals
  • Maintaining absenteeism, sickness and holiday reports
  • Assisting Line Managers with onboarding new staff

Person Specification:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • At least two years’ experience within an HR role
  • Experience of working Higher Education, Research or Science setting
  • Experience in working with multiple processes and working to tight regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of employment law
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
