An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experience professional to join our Biotech client, based South of the City with free parking available.

As PA to the Executive Director, you will provide a variety of administrative support to senior management and the wider team.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate extensive administrative experience within a fast-paced environment, alongside excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and advanced MS Office including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.  

KEY ACTIVITIES

Primary Responsibilities

  • Organises UK and overseas travel, including flights and accommodation
  • Proactively assists with calendar/email management and the organising of meetings for the team, using outlook
  • Compiles and distributes agendas, supporting documents and minutes for meetings
  • Raises departmental purchase orders using an internal system
  • Processes team expenses in a timely manner, to ensure the processing of prompt reimbursement
  • Coordinate the planning, organising and implementation of team-building events
  • Assists with the orientation of new team members
  • Works with and supports other Admins where workload or absence dictates
  • Uses advanced level software programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Visio to create graphs, charts, spreadsheets, and presentations


CANDIDATE PROFILE

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Successful candidates will have significant administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required
  • Requires knowledge and understanding of administrative and office policies and procedures
  • Must possess good proofreading skills
  • Advanced knowledge and experience using a number of office software and knowledge of Visio is desirable
  • Works under minimal supervision and able to prioritise workload to meet timelines
  • Receives occasional direction from manager to perform non-routine job responsibilities and duties

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Vacancy: Temporary (18 months via agency)

Rate: up to £17.99p/h doe

Hours: 37.5hrs per week
